Since i have added these photo's to the website, Piczo have added some new software that allows me to upload bigger and clearer pictures.

For once in her life Amanda gets a big portion!!
Times square is a must see, especially at night.
This was the last meal that i had on American soil, a BLT wrap, it was gorgeous and tasted a lot better than it looked.
One of my favourite views in New York was the "Brooklyn bridge", it is very impressive and this photograph does not do it any justice.
It is a shame really that this "Piczo" website do not do you photo's any favours, New York was much more impressive than what i can show you on here.   Amanda and i had a great time, and without the kids we were far less stressed and never quarelled once.   We were only there for 4 days but it gave us enough time to see everything that we wanted to see and more.   From riding the subway and yellow cabs to flying in a helicopter over the city we had a FANTASTIC time.   The city is like it is in the movies vibrant and majestic.   We took over 300 photo's and over 3 hours of video so that these fantastic memories will stay with us forever.
On a personal note i thought that i would become all goobumped when i visited ground zero, i was a little dissapointed as it really was just a huge building site, the one place that brought a lump to my throat was when we stould outside the Dakaota building on the spot where John Lennon was murdered, that was something special.   Like the Dakota, the corner of 51st   we stould on the same spot as where Marilyn Monroe had done years earlier in the film 7 year itch, but there was no sign to indicate this, here in this country we adopt the blue circular sign's to indicate a place of historical importance but the American's do not suprisingly.
Thankfully the cabs were cheap along with subway which made getting around far easier for me, four days was enough as i did plaenty of walking, most of it through the pain and discomfort barrier.   I could have given up on day 2 and just stayed in my room to rest my legs but i was not travelling over a thousand miles to look out of a hotel window.   Yes the MS shagged me out but it did not beat me.   What i experianced was very tight and slight pains in my left calf muscle, but the worst thing about the ms that killed me was the "Brain fog", after some walking i was clueless to know where i was, i had a ruff idea, but i was unable to pick up the map and then negotiate where i needed to go next.   This is where the coffee shops came in handy for a much needed rest.
Overall we had a cracking time and for the time being we are re-living those wonderfull moments again by watching the video footage that we recorded.
